This has been one of my favorite paint jobs for a long while. Just the amount of detail everywhere on the bike.

That Open has an incredible paint job. Those aren’t really by bag, but very elegant looking.

The Serotta fake wood thing is tragic. I’ve always hated that paint

Agreed!

Pretty much anything Leni Fried touches I really like http://www.titaniumarts.com/handpaint.html.

Here's my CCR with Tamoflage paint. Paint by Caroline James of Cycledelix.

Classic appeals to me over fancy or quirky.

I never owned one, but saw one once irl.
The opposite of complicated in many ways, but it was a truly beautiful, stunning frameset:
Wilier Cromovelato.

I do not remember the specific model (maybe "Superleggera") but it was older, steel. I think the fork was cromovelato too, but maybe the stays were silver chromed. It was great, very elegant, beautifully built (modern Record 10 carbon). Just super.

That is a beautifully executed paintjob. I'm not a fan of the melted chainstay look but the paint quality is outstanding. I wonder what that cost to do.

A few years back (I think it was shown at the Indy NAHBS) JB did a "saran wrap" job on a Kirk that was very nice. I don't know how many pictures there are of it (I don't know enough about it to track it down) but it stood out to me.

I know it's not crazy wild or anything but I still think Bianchi frames, including the Pantani version.
