The new color: depending on the light it's purple or dark red. Sadly it is a dark and rainy day so the photo quality is a bit poor...

Wow that is a beautiful color and really transforms that frameset! Nicely done and look forward to the complete build pictures.

Beautiful paintwork. I bet the difference between the dark red and purple is amazing in person!

Really beautiful color! Is there/do you notice a difference between the fork styles?

This is one great bike you have. It has simple elegance, I liked the color before but now it is amazing how it changes. So how do you like the Dugast Tubies
how are they holding up, good for gravel and such, and where is a source to buy them?

Had it made to the same geometry as the old fork an though the new one is a bit more sturdy (used fork legs designed for disk brakes) it is basically just aesthetics.

The Dugasts are plush as always and the Thyphoon profile is the jack of all trades for my rides though I do consider a set of wheels with their Small Bird tubes for when it gets too muddy. I live in Amsterdam so they are easily obtained directly from Dugast and from various webshops including bike-components.de and mantel.com

Thanks for answering that. I thought since the old was straight and the new one was curved there might be a difference, but I guess the rake is the same no matter how you get there!
