A quick glance at cyclingnews 2023 PR tech gallery indeed shows several double wrap examples.

Pedersen and Pithie both have their drive side pedal down, while Van der Poel has his drive side pedal up. Not even he could recover from that mistake.

Not everything is a Big Tire conspiracy.

I have been saying for years I wanted to try the double wrap. Can't believe I haven't done it. The bars often feel undersized for my hands anyway and I've had some issues especially riding a gravel bike with vibration/impact injuries in my hands.

I have also gotten blisters mountain biking on the inside of my thumb so I can see someone worried about that on the cobbles.

I think I'd be too afraid of crashing with no gloves to go gloveless though.

These guys are so hard core they don't even wrap the tops though.

Catching the sarcasm there.

Almost a master class on post-race interviews.

Just an observation here..........looks like Pedersen was in small ring and MVDP and Pithie in the big ring on this section. I could be wrong. And not that that really means anything. One "spinning", other two "grinding"?
