Sagan looked rusty. He let himself get boxed in and he simply didn’t have Kristoff’s acceleration. Once he saw Kristoff fly by (and knew he had a bad sprinting line), he sat up. Props to Kristoff for riding a smart race and making all the pre-race predictions look foolish.

Stage one a.k.a: a rife disaster. One announcer for most of the race, torrential rain, sketchy descents and crashes galore and tomorrow is a massive stage for climbing. This first week is going to be rough, I think.

Before the team car arrived, looked like Alaphillipe tried to spin the wheel and it wouldn’t move. Not sure if that would affect whatever it is you have to do to get the wheel off.
