Steel Serotta year?

Hey! Any guess what year this steel Serotta might be? Campy dropouts, Ultegra 6500 bits. Thanks!

Why do you think it's a Serotta?

Former owner claims it was a Serotta…but I’m wondering also. Trying to get more pics. Top tube cable guides & braze on FD mount makes me guess 1992 Colorado LT. So easy to guess. Also has the odd 27.2 seatpost that flares down towards the saddle.

No S on the rear brake bridge but I read that wasn’t uncommon for some Serotta models.

So might this "Not A Serotta" lugged steel frame have any value?

The seat and down tubes appear to not be tapered so that firmly rules out it being any of the colorado models.

It's a remote possibility that it's a Nova of some sort but the lack of S on the brake bridge makes that VERY unlikely.

I believe the early Serottas had the serial number on the steerer tube, but that is certainly not the original fork, so that possibility is gone.

I have never seen a Serotta with that brake bridge, though I have a Club Special with a flat bridge that is lacking the engraving. I will have to look at my Serottas with flat bridges. Can't say I ever took a close look at the underside, so I guess your frame could have the same bridge with the flat side on the bottom.

Still looks to be a quality frame. Cheap frames didn't usually get Campagnolo dropouts and 1" carbon forks have pretty good resale on their own.

I hate to be negative but that frame was not built by Serotta.

Sktr62 welcome to the forum. Neat small frame but you may want to amend one of your posts asking the $99.00 for it.
