Unless you want to watch Die Bundesliga and La Liga, I'm afraid you may have just wasted your money.

Serie A is now on CBS/Paramount. Fortunately, that's the network that also carries Champions League matches.

Btw, apparently there are two coaches in the European top-5 league who are American. Name both.

One should be easy to watchers of the beautiful game. The other less so (I've only found out about him today); here's a hint, he'd fit right at home at La Viola.

Ted Lasso? I kid. Matarazzo and Marsch both in the Bundesliga and I actually think Stuttgart could surprise this year.

I think ESPN+ for the Bundesliga and La Liga is fine.

Nope - I am paid up till 9/7. Yearly subscription ends and then I will cancel.
I think CBS is a bit cheaper as well.

Impressive knowledge of the Bundesliga

All i know about Stuttgart is its Congolese winger, who torched Dortmund last December and probably should have bagged a hat trick.

I just didnt realize that Matarazzo is American.

Not only that, he studied applied math as an undergrad at Columbia. Barely missed facing off against Marsch, with the latter representing Princeton.

Eta: i thought the whole Ted Lasso character was a joke to promote NBC’s EPL coverage. Didnt realize he’s the main character of a TV show. Found out only after the actor wore a shirt supporting Radhford, Sanco, and Saka, and i was wondering why ppl cared what an American actor had to say about football.

Some consider David Wagner an American as he played for the USMNT. I lost track of where he is coaching after Brighton. He is coaching Young Boys in the Swiss League.

Ah yes, Wagner. Of course he counts; just that Young Boys isn't in a top-5 league.

Apparently was best man at Klopp's wedding.

I get that most of my posts here are of the bantering nature (hopefully good-natured in the eyes of others). So allow me one more.

By sheer luck, Dan Levy looks as cunning as a crazy fox (as opposed to being a delusional fox).

What is that, Señor Guardiola? Your false-nines don't cut it and you need a real target forward? You'll be happy to hear that I will still accept the offer of 150 mil your side originally proposed. Just one minor thing, that 150 mil is in pound sterlings.

Nunes can coach. And now he has a squad. Get rid of Kane & get a proper striker.

Pretty funny as Spurs fans were chanting, "Are you watching, Harry Kane?"
That was classic.

I really hope Tottenham signs someone named Padre (or something similar). Then they'd get a holy trinity of players and coaches: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (literal translation of espirito santo).

Jest aside, it's really hard to dislike Nuno. By all accounts seems like a true gent who coaches well.

I haven't seen Spurs play with this level of effort and aggression since their last campaign in the old White Hart Lane. They were digging for every 50-50 ball and winning more than their fair share. That said, I fear that this is likely the season's high-water mark, and there are disappointments on the horizon. But that could be my defense mechanisms protecting me from the inevitable Spursiness to come. For now, though, it was a wonderful match, and all credit to Son, Taganga, Lucas, and perhaps especially Nuno.

The Kane saga aside, Spurs have had a solid 11 to put out for quite some time. Their undoing over the years, imho, is a lack of depth necessary for a long season competing at that level, which goes hand in hand with their transfers or lack thereof.

Some great goals in the matches I was able to watch: Son, Chalobah, Alonso's free kick, Vardy had a good one as well.

I did see that but never a true number (1.35B Euro) in debt.
