FD compatibility

Just confirming, since I may end up with this.
No issues using a 9sp FD with an 11sp setup, correct? No sloppy shifting to deal with compared to using an official 11sp?

Campagnolo??? IMO you shouldnt have a problem. But depends a lot of the lever we are talking about, the ratchet system went off in the newer chorus 11 groups, they came back to 3 or 4 clicks only, but if your lever has the ratchet system I doubt you might have a problem because you can play with the adjustment of it.

Record 11 shifters, but I don't know what year. Bought here used, so not the latest & greatest.

You can use pretty much any front der but you 'may' find you need to 'trim' more often..9s front der wider cage plus 7 clicks in front der vs more in older 10s/9s ERGO..

As for 'latest and greatest'...essentially unchanged since 2009, very ERGO-nomic and very durable..and very functional.

Thanks OP. I'm going this route, I think.
