EC70 easton isa seatpost screw size?

I have tried emailing and calling easton to no avail and was wondering if anyone here knew.

I have rounded the head on the screw that clamps the saddle to the post. It uses a 4mm hex wrench and length is 20mm. Would the size be an m4 x 20mm?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

It would not be M4, you need to measure the cross section of the actual bolt.

Bolts are measured according to width of the bolt, thread pitch, and length. You have the length, you need to get the width of the threaded portion of the bolt. I would guess it to be M6/7/8 for a seatpost, sometimes smaller on two bolt posts, but can't be sure if that is what you have or not without seeing it..

My local ACE hardware had a card on the wall near their nuts and bolt section....that will measure for size. Then if they don't have the bolt, you can find it somewhere (online).

There also is a nut and bolt manufacturer in my area who sells in bulk to retailers, who helped me out in past.

If you have Torx bits try the one that is the next size up from 4mm and carefully hammer it into the bolt head. I've had good luck with changing hex to torx in this way. At minimum it will buy you time to find the right bolt.
