Folding work table recommendations
Hi all,
My new place doesn't have as much room to keep things out, and I am looking for a nice folding work table to use 90% for bike builds, 10% for other household tasks. I have a Park Tool stand for the bike, so this would be for holding a truing stand, rebuilding derailleurs, spot to sand/paint random house projects, etc. Thanks! https://www.acehardware.com/departme...B&gclsrc=aw.ds https://www.acehardware.com/departme...B&gclsrc=aw.ds |

Do you have a wall available?
You would have a much sturdier table if you can mount it to a wall and have it fold down when not in use?

Unfortunately no, it’s a rental and I can’t put anything in the wall!

I have a 2'x4' Bora centipede. Sometimes you can buy it with the top for significantly less than both separate, and that's the way to go.

That dewalt n your post looks pretty good, especially compared against the festool equivalent.
Here’s a totally different approach |

We have a few of those lifetime tables and use them mostly for parties, but recently used one for working on bikes.

What about the Park table?

It would be helpful to know where and how this would be stored, and how often it would be used.
I'd suggest two Bora portable sawhorses and a sheet of plywood cut down to your available storage size. Pretty easy to tuck a 30"x40" sheet of 3/4" plywood in the back of a closet. |

Ended up with this and enjoy it a lot! It has easy attachments for putting multiple side-by-side, I may do that in the future. |
