Not sure what that is a reference to—afaik, Serotta never offered couplers on any of their carbon-tubed models. Those lugs (and Seven’s, IF’s, etc.) were what I was thinking of when I described the amount over overlap of material ashen joining ti to carbon. The standard S&S coupler doesn’t appear to have a lot of material for a carbon tube to adhere to.
