Well, first time for everything I guess ..
Rode the indoor trainer today because it was too hot outside.

I did hill repeats on Mission Home, but at 10 am. Dang, it was indeed sweltering.

OMG - 91* (and a bit humid) - how could you stand it?
Lately the dewpoint around here (STL) has been in the mid-70's. That's no fun. |

See....this is why I just can't seriously consider moving back home to the Shenandoah Valley. I went out today after work and knocked out 24 miles with the temp reading 95. It really just didn't feel all that hot except when I stopped. The humidity back there is what just kills you.
Be safe! |

You just hafta get out there a little earlier. Did 32 miles on the CCT with a heat index of 100+ but all in the shade (well, mostly).
Only lost two pounds of water weight. |

In San Diego only in the 80s but high humidity it feels really hot.
80s used to be a nice day but now it is suffering. We never had this kind of weather for most of my life, seems to have started maybe 15 years ago. A few years ago we gave in and put A/C in our bedroom. |
