They don't, but at this point I think it would take something like that before I'd order another bike in the next few years.

Same here, but that's certainly not going to stop me from thinking about it, especially having spent some unwanted time off the bike.

I suppose if money flowed my way, I'd want two machines
1. A sub 6 Kg climbing bike, with pedals, cages, front and rear light. Maybe an AX-Lightness or that Specialized thing. 2. A bespoke sub 40 pound velomobile by Daniel Fenn himself. |

I resemble this! Finally, I did something "right".
For me: I'd snag either a De Rosa Merak from Le Tour this year, or a Colnago racer. Not that I want race bikes, or carbon....but this is a fun purchase. Though, knowing myself, I'd sell them soon after....and get a Kirk MRB. So boring of me.

Probably something less practical I'd have a hard time justifying with hard-earned cash - like a purely aesthetic L'Eroica bike. Fly to visit Corsa Corsa in Tokyo - pick up a Colnago Mexico.

I'm currently all set when it comes to bikes.
MTB check Gravel check Road check and check Tandem check and check Now, this might change when Campagnolo releases it's wireless SuperDuperRecord groupo. Then I might consider an "aero" road bike......though I have to say I'm not too keen on having another bike with hydro disc brakes. |

And say, “Carl, build me the first rim brake Pursuit, please. I’ll cover all development costs.”

I'd go full retro and have a full monty Rene Herse built.

Now wondering if I should've said a 44 Snakedriver, my life may need a steel full suspension MTB ...

ooh, I knew I forgot one:
Maybe a decade ago I was jokingly suggesting finding someone who could perfectly recreate a 1970 Schwinn Stingray Krate, and someone on a cycling forum pointed me to a contemporary framebuilder who was doing exactly that! Definitely add one of those to my list. Now if only I could remember who it was... Last edited by Bob Ross; 08-09-2022 at 04:10 PM. |

Your scenario is actually the only way I would get another bike (out, blasphemer!). But, in that scenario, it would either be a Crumpton or an Argonaut with Lightweight wheels (rim brake, of course).
