Porch pirate owns a Bianchi

I guess this is mostly OT.
This vid is making the rounds.

Noticed the Bianchi at 9:23. Wonder if he stole that too.

This is awesome. I hate these pieces of s##the that do this. Another great video is the one where the woman breaks her leg after slipping on the grass while running from the porch. Her douchebag boyfriend has to pick her up and carry her to the car. Then that pos goes back and still steals the package. Wish they had even more glitter in the box. Or shrapnel.

The kid still has to open it, that is when the thing goes off. If the kid does that, too bad.

That was great--nice bit of engineering.

The most depressing thing is his story that the police were uninterested in pursuing thefts off his porch, even though he had videos. The rest of us are paying for those thefts in higher prices, and the police (who used to take shoplifting in stores very seriously) need to straighten up and take this **** seriously.

what would you like them to do besides filing the information?
hire more staff and pull stings around the city to save someone's $200 package?

I love this guy. He so over-engineered the package, it's just freaking awesome! And the ironic choice of sender and recipient on the label!

Seems the room "freshener" was on delay...I would have triggered that with the glitter for maximum effect.

He should sell this thing...on Amazon...

How's is this less of a crime than somebody walking into your garage and stealing your kid's bike? Throw a couple of these criminals in jail for 30-60 days, publish it..

Thieves are real scumballs, IMHO...

This! I'm sorry but if you prey on the honest people in society then society just does not need you. No sympathy for thieves at all no matter what. And I grew up poor as crap but didn't steal. There is really no excuse!

THe problem is that if they start publishing this A/holes with pictures and everything all over the place, they will start complaining and sure some lawyer will open a case so that type of "indirect punishment" is dismissed and found not legal. Either way..i do agree... in my country if you stole a expensive bike, better not find you with the bike because you have like 120% chances to end up at the hospital with a couple of teeth missing.

I really doubt a person recorded being a thief will 'complain'..unless they'd like to get arrested but yup, there probably are some 'professional liars' that would take that case. If I caught somebody pirating my porch..it would end badly..
