Check out the gallery photos, too. Scroll through...

The owner's gallery is very entertaining, too, charming in some cases.

I've looked into selling them here over the years but it never made sense cost/margin wise. I wonder if they have fulfillment in the US at this point?

I would have had to buy a pile of them and hope to sell through. Back then they had nothing really new so year to year was no problem. Special ordering however was out of the realm of possibility.

They have a list of dealers located in the United States, I don't know anything more than that. And maybe that's okay... for RBW.

My point in introducing this brand into the thread was to give an example that fit the target market that Colker described. I don't think this is much of a stretch for Rivendell.

Unless you live in a 4 story walk-up. E-bikes generally weigh in the 50 - 70 lb. range, so they are not ideal for people who have to carry them up and down stairs.

That would suck being “very very rich” living in a 4 story walk up

Have you seen the rents in New York City recently?

Flying Pigeon in Los Angeles was a Pashley dealer. I saw him sell one. He might have sold another 4 in the next 6 years.

Is Joe Remi's time out over yet?
This thread was much more interesting / entertaining with him on board.

How about an old building in Brooklyn with a small and disgruntled elevator. Nothing "very very rich" about that setup ... hauling my single speed up 5 flights of stairs sucked. And then I bounced up to the 8th for a few more years. Ugh.

colker said (these are my words) that rivendell deserves to be marketed to the "very very rich" (quotes are his words). I am not sure what very very rich means in Brazil where he is from, but from my advantage point, wealthy folk who want the pastural experience of a bicycle are riding ebike long hauler bikes for going to the grocery store, hauling kids around and general fun and not rivendel-like bikes. Again, I doubt the "very very rich" of New York's boroughs live in a building you are describing (my friends and relatives do) or want to have an about-town-bike that colker thinks. Another reason his idea is flawed.

Lets be real here, these days the very very rich are riding boosted boards.
