Coming soon to a bike near me..

Found a local builder in Memphis who is gracious enough to bless me with two souvenirs to remind me of my Memphis experience. Off to the painters!

Who is the builder in Memphis?! I used to live over in Corinth MS and didn't realize there were any builders there!

Recent builder! His name is Earl Glazer. Building bikes is kind of a side job as he works for FedEx as well. I'm trying to get him on the forum! Meanwhile here's his websitehttp://www.earlglazercycles.com/

He makes some pretty stuff and photos Campagnolo 10. He would fit right in here.

I would love to have a fork and stem exactly like that to go with a titanium frame.

Will eventually be a stem! Initially he was going to build me one from a lugged stem lit by they have increased in price significantly. After some brainstorming he offered to do some bilaminate work to make it LOOK like lugs, plus I get to choose whether I want two or four bolts for the faceplate :-). Next step is to bring my bike in to cut the steerer tube and trim the stack on the stem so I don't need spacers!

Finally picked everything up today and Earl helped me to install it. He has a work space elsewhere where he brazes and does the heavy work, and then brings them home for finishing touches! Side note, he also builds wooden mallets for fun! Today he used his mallet to install the star nut. I think everything came together really well!

Very jealous of the stem. One of my favorite parts to subtle bling.
