Yup. This type of behavior just drives me crazy. Last week, while walking my dog, I found a wallet next to a car in the driveway. As it was really early I did not want to ring the bell so I just put the wallet inside their storm door. Never even looked to see if there was any money inside. I dropped a friend at Newark Airport last week--and his wallet went missing between the car ride and post-security when he went to buy something. (International, so passport used to clear security.) I was almost home, but stopped to search the car--no luck. He got home OK, started canceling credit cards etc, and then got a call from the Airport lost and found--his wallet had been turned in.

In New Jersey!

Confirms my belief that most people are honest.
