2014 (Gen 1) Kickr with carbon thru axle bike?

I have a 2014 (Gen 1) Kickr which I've used with Wahoo's thru axle adapter on an aluminum frame for several years and the T/A drop outs definitely show some wear from it. I think the design has changed with the newer models to be gentler on frames.

Has anyone tried the Gen 1 Kickr with a carbon frame? Good/bad/ugly?

Thanks

What kind of wear? I just got the 142mm 'kit' to be able to put my wife's new Trek Emonda ALR on the Kickr... she hasnt tried it yet.

The drop outs rest on a shallow hex nut on drive side which has caused paint wear and some gouges.
