Who Makes a 130bcd, 48t Narrow Wide Chainring?

Currently I'm running my All-City Mr. Pink 1x10 with a 44t RaceFace narrow/wide chainring bolted to a SRAM Red 130bcd PF30/BB30 road crankset and 11-28 cassette with SRAM Red road rear derailleur. Works excellently and looks like so:

I've been thinking about new gear ratios lately for a bigger spread and I'd love to try something like 48t in front with 11-32 or so out back. Turns out though that all the usual suspects that produce narrow wide chainrings for 1x use don't make a 48t 130bcd. Found a few options in 110bcd but not 130bcd. Most that make then in 130 seem to jump from 44 up to 50 or 52.

Anyone have any leads to a 48t narrow wide chainring in 5x130bcd?

they list a 52t, maybe they're out of the 48T?

Wolftooth has a wide range of NW rings to choose from but they are still missing a 46T and a 48T in any BCD. I am also looking for a 46T, which they told me a while back it will likely be available sometime in the summer.

options

A couple of more options:

Willow chainrings, which are made in the USA by Vuelta, has 48t in 130bcd for $20:

Or if you want Vuelta chainrings, they have ramped and pinned 48t 130bcd rings for $41:

Or regular flat chainrings in 48t 130bcd for $29.50:

Of course, if you want something fancier, Wiggle has TA 48t 130bcd rings for $53:

Good Luck!

The price is right on these:

I've been curious how these "USAmade" chainrings are. They also sell them on Amazon.

Sorry the one you want is the "Control" line...and I don't see that in 130BCD with 48T. Maybe write them?

Cannondale house brand Coda makes a 48 tooth 3/32 without ramps and doodads which IIRC was for 8/9 speed chainrings. 130mm BCD. Marked 'CODA USA. 6061 T6' referring to alloy and treatment.

I have one I bought NOS on a fixed gear bike, works very well.

No idea how you'd source one.

I'm trying to do something similar with a Shimano 7800 SRM crank. It's a weird oversight: a big gap in offerings between 44t and 50t for 130 BCD. Maybe I'm asking for too much.

I agree, totally weird. Plenty of options for 110 bcd but just that large jump for 130 bcd. I mean, sure I could swap cranks to something 110 to give me the option I want but that seems dumb since I have this perfect good, already installed SRAM Red 130 bcd crankset installed.

I don't know much about "narrow wide" chainrings, but could you use a single speed/fixie/track chainring instead? If so, 48t 130bcd chainrings available in 3/32" or 1/8" are available:

Thanks, but yeah, gotta be a narrow wide. I've run various other standard front chainrings in this setup and eventually they all drop the chain at some point. Switching to narrow wide has cured it completely.

I'd guess switching to a clutch type rear derailleur may be another option but again, that means swapping off a perfectly good and functional part. In this case, a SRAM Red Black 10sp rear derailleur.

I just never figured a 48 tooth narrow wide chainring in 130 bcd would be such an odd part request.

You could try Warhawk Industries. http://www.warhawkindustries.com/cha...chainring.html

Their site says the rings are custom made to order so there is a big backlog. You can choose the material, color and whether you want narrow-wide or not and add it to your cart but I could not find an option to specify toothcount. You might want to email them and see if it's a possibility and how long it would take, though.
