Funny eBay description for a Pinarello

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pinarello-D...4AAOSwuXlfNHCh

There are three foundational variables in cycling: genetic gifts, training load and your equipment.

The first is outside all of your control - either you have it or your don’t. And how hard you train is your prerogative. Some are more motivated than others.

The bike you ride though - it’s impact on your motivation and yes, your speed, can be vast as the ocean itself.

There are few bikes in the world that can pull inspiration from the depths of your soul. Through its straight up Sophia Loren in-your-face sex appeal and legitimate F1 technological/aerodynamic superiority - this is one of them. THE ONE if we are being real.

This Dogma F10 in particular has climbed the highest mountains in the Pyrenees, coasted through dusty vineyards in Mallorca and ripped the cold damp bergs of Flanders. She was treated with the respect and care of a Kentucky thoroughbred - wiped down after every ride, drivetrain scrubbed every weekend and never, ever, laid on the ground like they do in California.

In buying this bike one can expect an incredible amount of compliments, hard to disguise jealousy and an overwhelming desire to ride - fast and far. She will inspire you.

Love this part:

The parts spec is all Italiano. You will see other Dogma riders with plastic Japanese parts. No words are necessary. You win.

It is a little funny. But the description looks better than the bike...

Sort of reminds me of the lengthy Competitive Cyclist product descriptions before the move to Utah.

Sorry, but the genuine Italiano parts are more 'plastic' than the Japanese ones that I'm familiar with (and I ride Campagnolo, but have nothing against Shimano). No mention of the origin of the Dogma frame itself?

Sounds like a frustrated ad man.

I like his style, with a few exceptions: Comparing a bike's sexiness to a woman is boomer stuff. Telling scammers to not bother at the end of a listing is VERY boomer. Apologies to boomers. I'm a millenial and the butt of too many jokes.

I like his other listing too, for a sold Bianchi:
