Merlin Ti Road (re-imagined)

Built up this Merlin road as a fun city bike or for bike paths when riding with my wife. 1x11 setup with friction thumb shifter. That's a 1" threadless filet brazed steel fork custom built by Mjolnir Cycles (picked it up a few years ago here) with stainless steel dropouts. Fun bike.

Looks cool. Isn’t the shifter a little awkward to use mounted so high above the brake?
