veloflex sps with wide rims

Hi

are there any users with veloflex sps (the new version) in either 25 or 28 running on wider rims (with 28mm external)?

would be interested in how wide they run.

thanks
S

Hi, didn't want to respond because my experience doesn't precisely align to your question.

As a data point, I run the SPS 28mm Corsa's (the previous generation model, not the recently updated ones.

On a C17 rim they measure out at 28mm exactly after stretching. So on a wider rim you could expect them to be slightly bigger.

They have a very, very nice shape - not bulbous like many of that size.

Hope this helps!

Same as Robert - just got a pair but they're mounted on narrow rims right now. Master 25 SPS, 90 PSI, measured with calipers at 23 mm on Open Pros. I imagine these would be closer to true size on a wider rim.

Doesn't matter that mine are undersized, still the best tires in the world.

Don't have 28mm rims, but on my 24mm rims my Veloflex Master SPS 25's measure at 24mm and my 28's measure at 27mm.
