Getting a motorcycle or other several hundred pound item into a 4x4 is a recommended 2-person job. Unless you're really good at it and have a slight slope to park on and lessen the angle of the ramps.
Agree. If you're going to do it with any regularity, suggest two wide folding ramps. Fairly easy to walk it up when you have three feet to work with. They've been a lifesaver after an exhausting track weekend. https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/...sku_id=1127305

If I were tracking a motorcycle regularly, I'd want to be transporting it in an enclosed trailer with lights, spares, small work bench, cooler/fridge and a mattress.

Sure nicer than just driving one's daily driver to the track, with race wheels stuffed in the hatch, and a boomy free flow exhaust. Boston to Watkins Glen is a *long* drive!

i'm not ready to go all-electric yet, but this looks pretty cool! love the concept of a smaller pick-up, especially something electric for short range use. pretty awesome styling too.

I like it! Great retro styling. It reminds me of the Ford Courier pickup my Dad bought back in the mid 70s.

An electric truck makes sense for urban/suburban use. I still do a lot of errands where I’d prefer a truck, and prefer not to add to the aroma of the city.

Best set up for me would be a PHEV truck with maybe 40 mile EV range. It would take care of 90% of daily needs in EV mode, and still make it possible to head out camping with the family out in the sticks.

That thing looks tiny....like a model car kit . Almost reminds me of an old S10.

In high school, all my buddies drove S-10 pickups. My Grandpa also owned an S10 and he taught me all about the 2.5 Iron Duke engine. Great little trucks and would be perfect for weekend chores and Home Depot runs.

But I saw one just the other day and parking next to it i was amazed at just how TINY it seemed.

Reminds me of the little Mazda's and Datsuns you'd see on the road back in the day. I wonder how much leg room that has because it looks tiny. Tiny tiny tiny...

I'd bet that thing won't carry much payload-wise.

It is cute, though.

They look to have a good designer - like others, I find this (and their Alpha's models) quite attractive. Nice at least one company is not following the bigger-is-better approach.

Clearly though Alpha has not deliver a single vehicle. Building a consumer car/truck at scale is hard! Tesla even with all their $$$ has a hard time getting it right if Consumer Reports is to be believed. Seems a lot like the pre-WW II era with so many manufacturers. The next few years will be an interesting time to see who can pull it off.

I wonder if any of the traditional marques will snap the more interesting start-ups up? Guessing "no" as they'll have confidence in their own staff/ability. Also, seems like the start ups like Alpha are more about the design and if the bigs are going to buy anyone will be a battery vendor, driverless-tech, etc.

It looks like I would need to drag my utility trailer along to carry plywood/building supplies.
