There has been a whole lot of really nice 53/54cm bikes, frame/forks posted lately, here and another Bike Forum. My first couple of years on bike related forums, I saw relatively few. Maybe it's CV-19 related.

I need to stop looking at them. I surely do not need any more bikes. Lately, I have been seeing many that I want/would like to have. I keep making myself give it a day or two hoping they will already be gone, or the want passes. It isn't the want that passes, but the compulsive urge lessens, for the most part. That or, thankfully, reality returns and I let it go.

Would love to know if you see any steel frame sets in the $400-600 range. Prefer more modern over retro. Threadless, carbon fork, TT length 53-54 ideally. Thanks!

Serotta CSi 58 cm. Frame and Original Steel Fork Excellent!

Serotta CSi 58 cm. Frame and Original Steel Fork Excellent! $700 buy it now
I have this Serotta frame and original steel fork for sale, serial # CC581238. The seat tube does measure 58 cm but the top tube is 60 cm center to center and the head tube is 166 mm. It has Shimano dropouts and the rear is 130 mm. spacing. It's in amazing condition, just a few scratches, a paint chip on the fork, no dents or cracks. One of the top steel frames ever, for the true connoisseur. I already have one so here's your chance to own one of the best handling steel frames made.

1990 Team Miyata Frame and Fork 58cm, Splined, Triple-Butted Steel, NOS

1990 Team Miyata Frame and Fork 58cm, Splined, Triple-Butted Steel, NOS

1990 Team Miyata NOS steel frame and fork, 58cm. Triple butted, splined cro-moly steel. Seat post IS NOT INCLUDED.

The frame is New Old Stock, has not been built. This frame was the highest steel framed offering that model year, exceeded in Miyata hierarchy only by the Carbon Tech Pro models (aluminum/carbon hybrids). There is one dent in the top tube, as illustrated in the last picture. It was there when I bought the frame. I planned to build the bike and to cover that little dent with a snap-on stainless cable guide or a clamp for a bicycle pump. It doesn't affect the structurally integrity of the frame. The paint is not scratched even.

Shipping price is for Lower 48 US states only.

Please see my other 2 ads for frames of 57 or 58cm.
