I glanced at this earlier. Isn't my size and didn't look at the price.

Holy crap, this is a slamming deal!

I want to party with this bike but my gut tells me I don't need an elderly road bike with skinny tires (again). That said, I'd go dgaf chill mode with MAP/Ahearne bars, downtube shifter, 1x with an old deore m700 series crank, de-anodized narrow/wide chainring, deerhead rear gorilla w/ wolftooth road link, uhhhhh go scream at people on a tweed ride. Damn I want this bike.
I honestly hope it's long gone by now. I'm gonna be pissed if someone buys it to put a modern group on it.

I'd go pick it up if I had a car. Not that far.

Curious.
I’ve seen my share of Trauts (and owned) but never one like this.
Fillet brazed?
What’s with the seat post clamping treatment?
Never seen a paint job like that on an Eisentraut.

Not saying it’s not the real thing, just a new one on me.

It looks like one of his latest TIG welded frames, probably wishbone stays too.

I think the chart and the size stated in the description is a bit confusing. It is called a medium in the headline, but a 56cm in the item specifics. The 56cm does not correlate with the medium size in the chart for either the seat tube or the top tube.

yup.
this looks like a tig welded frame from the 90s maybe early 2000s.

Ive seen a couple with wishbone stays that looked like this and the wacky paint isnt super common but its definitely not uncommon
