Narrow Gravel Shoes?

I'm new to the SPD metal cleat type pedals/shoes and have very narrow, low volume feet. Every pair of my road shoes have need shims on top of the tongue so I can get them tight enough. I'd like a pair of 2 bolt SPD shoes that aren't MTB bulky yet still have the abilty to walk because of the recessed cleats. Essentially, a pair of walkable road shoes that don't weigh a ton. Around here, gone are the days of going into a shop, trying on and buying shoes. Looking for suggestions.

fits like sphyre road shoe, which also works well for me.

They are one of the few cycling shoe mfg who make shoes in widths, I have narrow feet and use them exclusively and I have both SPD and road shoes.

I'm a B width myself so your suggestions hit home I'll have a look at the RX8.

I used to be a Sidi only man until they went past Genius 3. After that they got wider and had more tongue to sole volume. Even with 2 insoles they'd be puckered when I pulled them tight, but were still too loose. Maybe I should take another look.

My giro empires definitely feel narrow. They ride nicely and are on sale here and there it seems.

Surprised about RX8 as I have a fairly wide foot (hammertoe and operated on) and they still are a bit too wide for me (but I am very happy with them!)

Can confirm Sidi have become wider in my opinion as my newer ones are a better fit and wider than older ones (genius models)

rx8 come in regular and wide width, so perhaps you have wide?
