OK, I color coordinated my 70's Serotta...now can I go play?

Some people were 'miffed' that I had yellow bar tape and gray cabling, so as punishment I had to redo them. Now can I ride it? (OK, Already did: It rides s-m-o-o-t-h and quiet, Campy 11 spd)

Always thought that paint scheme was both atrocious and wonderful at the same time. That’s a great bike. Enjoy it.

I can think of only one way to improve the look of that bike:

I missed the post people were miffed in but I could totally see yellow bar tape on that. Now, lets talk about that saddle angle...

Love the frame but that bar angle cannot be comfortable.

Thanks. I know it looks odd, ditto the seat angle, but believe me it is a lot more comfortable than having both in the classic "seat waaay high and bars low" usual pictures. I'm 73 and have a bit of arthritis, also asymmetric pelvis, thus high bars and leather seat sloped up are the 'cure', at least for me. All my bikes have leather saddles, and my magic 'up' angle is about 4 degrees. Works for me anyway. As the song says, 'I is built for comfort baby, I ain't built for speed'.

Comfort is where it counts.
