this is totally true, seems like my mailbox is always on the verge of explosion, but i've lost track of a bunch of great transactions due to keeping it relatively purged.

Whenever I finish a transaction, I delete all but the last message (which usually has the others quoted in it anyways).

Haven't had any problems on the forums thus far, so I'll list everyone.

Good buyers: straightegde, wrestlr, aarondgirard (x2, trade), ahumblecycler (x2), cookietom (trade), woolly, zoom2zoom, FastVegan (trade)

Good sellers: clunk, pbjbike, Benjamin, noonan1970

I had been in search of a 47cm-49cm bike for my girlfriend for weeks and weeks. Mark came to me with a 47cm Trek 1220 and from the very start was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. We decided to build up the frame from his parts and he spent his valuable time putting the bike together without charge. He assembled most of the bike with NOS or lightly used (maybe) parts and gave us a steal for two young cats on a budget. He even emailed me once he saw that UPS had delivered to see if the bike was ok, fitting, and all parts seemed legitimate.

Unbelievable.

Dosebase02 - Avoid

Seller not recommended, I believe I have been a victim of a Paypal scam. Please be very wary of Gift payments. Hoping chargeback will fix the issue. User is not respondent on this forum and his email accounts are no longer existent.

for vanity reasons, i was looking for a matching cage, but he did me one better, he sent me not 1... but 2 pairs of matching cages that he wasn't using. didn't even let me pay shipping. karma comes full circle, and i'll remember it.

add nahtnoj to that as well, met him in person, great guy all around

look out for Izalco expert

I recently purchased 2 water bottle cages from this individual. They were posted:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

They each way 32 grams. Used for a few rides but I want to get a set of Arundel's. They retail for $20 each, both of them together for $25 shipped.

After sending him money via paypal, he wrote me this:

$25 sent as goods
$30 as gift.

Preferred $30 since I actually paid $50 for the white ones..let me know what you think.

when I asked him why there was a 5 dollar difference he wrote this:

The reason why I said $30 was for $5 to cover the shipping charge since these won't fit in an envelopeI will send them in the morning but I was asking for an extra $5 to pay for the shipping. I can't fit those in an envelope so I need to put them in a small flat rate box. Is an extra $5 okay for shipping?. I am brand new to the forum and I just post things like everyone else does. I won't make that mistake again. I'm sorry

so I paid the extra 5 dollars and got the cages, when they arrived they were broken!! so I tried to contact him to express my dissatisfaction and to request a refund and now I get this:

Izalco Expert has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.

I think his actions toward his reponsibility indicate this person is untrustworthy and should be avoided.

sorry this happened to you chaz, he is definitely an exception around here, as most folks will bend over backwards to help another forum member out.

i see you're new here, try not to be turned off because of this one jackass.

welcome to the forum, karma will get him.

He has been dealt with (ie ID) I do not know who he really is unfortunately.

One of the other moderators caught it. I thanked him but do not mention his ID>

For stuff like this these folks can only blame me.
