I cannot say enough good things about Jeff N.

Munificent and a fast shipper. All aces in my book.

southernexposur, who's pretty new around here, just sent me a set of Record hubs. They were packed carefully, shipped out quickly, and arrived in much better condition than the original ad would have suggested. I really couldn't ask for anything more. Well, if someone wants to give me a Speedvagen or Zanc cross bike, that would be great.

just did a couple of deals...

thwart, everything has been said;
guyintense, great guy to deal with;
akelman and thegunner, just good people;
and of course, with three perfect bikes purchased from him, Jack Brunk.

The system here works if you treat it as you should.... great folks all with the same interest!

Thumbs down Izalco Expert

My first negative experience of the forum. I've noticed some other weird posts from this guy...

In my case, he "sold" me some handlebars and sent me his email address for PP payment, only to sell then to another buyer w/in hours of notifying me. Doesn't suggest to me a stable or reliable partner...

See emails below.

Re: NEW Take-off 3T Ergosum Bars 42cm C-C
It would have been nice if you had not told me to send money to your email address before you sold the bars to someone else. I can live w/o them, but I must say, I'm not impressed. How much of a difference can a couple of hours make? I really think you should do what you say and say what you do. It maintains a better sense of security and trust w/in the forum. -CEN

Buyer hasn't responded to my email..the bars are yours if you want them?

I couldn't wait and I sold the bars! Sorry! Good luck and I hope you find another set. Thank so much!

Liberace / Avalonracing / Guy Limey

I've had great buying experiences with:
Liberace
Avalonracing
Guy Limey

I'm mostly a buyer, not a seller so haven't had any experience with buyers on the forum. BIG HUGE THANK YOU to the moderators of the forum - you guys rock!

I responded within minutes of your message..and no response from you. I waited also for a few hours on here for you to get back so I could get your address..again no response. And I didn't receive a message from you until this morning and since I had 100 messages, it says my inbox was full so I searched your name and found this so I could send you a message asking what you needed? Ask anyone else I have sold something to on here..no complaints and fast shipping, but thanks anyways, sorry to upset you, if I come across another set of bars which I will soon since we stock 3T, i'll give them to you for $20 and pay for shipping myself. Hopefully I didn't ruin your day.

Great Sellers:

omc53- Speedplay Zero Stainless
John H.- FSA K-Force Carbon Bars/Seatpost
And a few others I can't remember..I bought a Red cassette from someone on here as well and it was in perfect condition as stated.

Getting back to the original topic, I have had only great experience with the forum:

ahumblecycler - several transactions and he's gone the extra distance all on his own accord.

duke - bought an Ottrott frameset and could hardly distinguish from new.

rpettet - bought a Serotta cross bike - mint condition and worked flawlessly.

liberace - bought and sold from him, Since he's local to me, I've met him and nice guy.

echelon_john - got a HED wheelset in mint condition and was shipped really fast.

mentioned others in an earlier past

doing a deal with staggerwing. agreed to swap a set of wheels for a crank. he insists on sending me the crank to make sure I am happy with it b/4 I send the wheels! Great guy. I'm sending the wheels now anyway but THAT is how the people here roll... trust and honesty!

In the interest of keeping this thread "on focus", I have deleted most of the threads related to "Izalco Expert"...

I also asked him NOT to sell anything on the Forum for awhile and let stuff cool down.

If anyone see's him posting anything in the classifieds section, please let me know and we will ban him.

Thank you

class act steve, thanks.

back on topic, i've had nothing but positive dealings with members of this forum, and i've had quite a few now.

most notably recently: crownjelelwl - bought a set of wheels from him, went smoothly and he has gone above and beyond what he's needed to do to get me a few misc. items for the wheels themselves. top notch seller in my book.

I've yet to have a bad experience buying or selling, thanks to everyone. I know I won't remember everyone, so sorry to anyone I missed.

Great buyers: mcallen, atanz, buldogge, akelman, buck-50 (pending delivery of promised beer), petehalupka, jeff in seattle-sorry forgot your handle, will edit it in if you get back to me. This goes for anyone else I've forgotten, the mailbox cleaning makes it hard to remember everyone.

Great sellers: tsarpepe, slowandsteady, lhuerta, bob in CT (forgot handle), pitcrew, audiisaac, chris, bikser, echelonjohn, DWI, rounder

Just helpful in general: thegunner, sean
