Not much experience.........

but, I have to give jnusbaum a shout after my experience as a buyer. He sent an impeccably packed bike that was in mint condition! Dude, Thanks

Ethan Laek sold me wheels and stuff, they were well packed and arrived that week, he too was a pleasure to work with.

This site has been great! Cheers

PBEL (Darren)

Another exceptional Serotta forum transaction
Priced more than fairly, packaged with care, and shipped promptly.

ahumblecycler= GREAT SELLER, he was up front and honest. No nonsense, Great communication and VERY good packaging. The man uses Duct tape in addition to packing tape, and bubble wrapped everything individually.

Seriously, I find this thread to be slightly silly. I have had nothing but great experiences with every transaction regardless if I was the seller or the buyer. The latest exchanges were with SoCalSteve and Ryun. It would be easier to identifier poor transactions ... but then I find some people like having horns tooted.

Cheers to the single best forum!

About two years ago somebody sold me a Thomson seatpost that was warped a bit at the shaft due to over-torqueing. Don't remember who it was, and did not bother mentioning it at the time. (Seller might not even have noticed it.)

A long long time ago some guy did not send me some DT shifters for the longest time. I googled him and found a bunch of stuff on the web saying that he was not a reliable guy and actually a crook. I sent a few more pestering e-mails (did not escalate my tone, just asked him when he thought he'd be able to get around to sending them). He finally sent the shifters. I don't remember his name either. He's not on the forum any more.

Those are really the only two negatives and there were tons of positives.

Louis
