That was probably my size but interesting that there were no measurements given, in spite of the fact that there was lots of other info provided about the bike and it's history. That's what I get for taking advantage of a couple of low humidity days riding...instead of spending my time surfing the 'net.

I don't know what you guys/gals constitute as a small bike, but if it's any consolation the "50cm" designation is a misnomer. The 50cm BMC MCD fits more like a ~54cm with a 55.5cm top tube. As someone who rides a standard 50-52cm bike, I'd be more comfortable riding the 44cm size with a 53.0cm top tube (my BMC Monstercross is a "50cm"). Mike Varley sizes the frames based on the seat tube just like any other steel frame, but the MCD has a sloping top tube that makes the seat tube shorter for a given top tube length (hence the sizing confusion).

https://blackmtncycles.com/frames/mcd-frames/

Still a great deal if that $350 BIN was still valid and if you're in that size range.

Not a great deal, but it's small.

I wanted to bump this up. I've been looking for cheap smallbikes, but the process has turned up some cool finds. Maybe the bigbike thread can have a companion?

43cm all city space horse for $1400. Price isn't super great, but hard to find the size.

I would offer to facilitate it, but...if I drove to Harvard, I'd take it home.

Seriously...ask the seller if they'll drop the bike at Belmont Wheelworks for packing and shipping.

I was tempted...but it looks like the bike has 35mm tires without clearance for much (any?) more and my LightSpeed fits 40mm tires...
