Just beautiful and love the details, Eric. And I like the idea of the bike coming out of a couple of contexts; was Peter's and your collaboration meant from the start or did it just happen to work out that way?

Originally Peter planned on a more traditional French style rando bike. I spoke with him recently about the project and he was very excited about the direction it took and the retrospective yet individual take we both intentionally took.

I'm curious what saddle and seatpost were used.

That is a Fizik that was recovered, and an Ericksen that was ceramic coated to match the black components.

Methinks I saw this bike in person today. It’s pretty amazing.

This is really amazing work, to the degree that I didn't even realize this could be broken down for travel until I read the details on the Winter site.

Beautiful bike, from the lugwork to the color.

Love this one--especially how the S&S lugs are shaped to match the bike--they look much less industrial treated this way.

Love the paint on this bike! I also really like the symmetry between the stem, TT and ST. I don’t know if this was intentional or not but it all looks so right!
