Had it, never used it, sold it!

It's made the new owners very happy, however, last time we chatted (a few years prior). I forget if buyer was a forum pal or if it was tandem forum folks who bought it. It's been raced and seen lotsa spirited rides, that much I know.

30lbs as is (or rather, was), all aluminum stuff by design, could've easily shaved 4-5 pounds with lighter parts. Belt drive alone would've been huge savings.

Wherever you're going, a tandem gets you there faster!

IF MTB Tandem

Late to the party. Sadly this doesn't get ridden much these days, but can't bring myself to part with it. Given the 26-inch wheels, 1 1/8 head tube, and IF's fading profile, probably worth more to me than others anyway. Lots of good times on this bike!

The bike dates to the late 70s, but some of the drivetrain has been modernized a bit.

Our off road tandem. My son is 6 (turning 7) and we ride singletrack and gravel together.

Tandem is a Salsa Powderkeg setup with SRAM AXS and crank arm shorteners for my son.
