Just FYI, i'm not sure the amazon Oakley's are legit.
My friend got some Sutros there and we both have genuine Sutros.
These seem ok but some things had us questioning it, enough that I wouldn't buy through anyone other than oakley.com

Mostly unrelated, but I bought some Zyrtec on Amazon. Two packs. The dating was different on both. Called J&J, gave details, and tomorrow I mail it to them. Told me it ain't real.

...It works like this: Amazon has a single listing on its marketplace for each unique item. Different vendors may sell the same product, which all use this shared listing.

However, these products are not simply lumped together on the website. In fact, the items from each seller using Fulfilled By Amazon (FBA) are stored together physically in commingled containers.

So, a customer goes to Amazon, and places an order through one store. But when the actual item is taken to be shipped to the customer, it could be picked from inventory provided by anyone also selling the product.

So if nine vendors are each selling an authentic product, and one vendor is selling an counterfeit version of that product, then all ten of them will suffer the consequences if the counterfeiter is not stopped. Even Amazon has troubled determining where the product came from, once the customer sends it back...

I have stopped ordering anything from Amazon where quality matters. Too often products do not live up to expectations at best, and are counterfeit at worst. If it's a product that can expire, it's past its expiration date. If it's a product where size matters, it's always smaller than you expect. And if it's a product that can be counterfeited, there's a good chance it has been.

I still use Amazon for things I want fast and don't really care about the quality, but most of Amazon makes TJ Maxx look like Nordstrom.

I've been getting Panaracer GK tires from Amazon at great prices and also 5% back. The listing shows Visit the Panaracer Store, so I have been thinking these are genuine Panaracer tires. There are other source choices in the right sidebar where it shows Other Sellers on Amazon but I ignore those. What's the chance that whole Panaracer Store is a fraud and I'm buying counterfeit tires? (Maybe that's why they seem to wear out fast

Well actually...
No, the Panaracer Store on Amazon appears legit, but there are definitely stores with established brand names that are very obviously fake (e.g. they sell random stuff that has nothing to do with the brand in the name). So tread carefully.
