Just mentioned it to my wife - "Yeah, let's do it."

So I'm in.

I'll have to see who's on the attendee list, but never a horrible thing to have it a short drive away.

Of all the different venues I've been to with NAHBS Sacramento has been the best for me. I've penciled it in.

It's funny how different perspectives can be.....as someone who has spent nearly my entire life in rural settings, sleepy and little are two words I would never use to describe SAC.

Offering my foothill hovel to longtime Paceline participants. Pals closer in would likely find couch space or more.

Good riding, good company, good brews, good bikes and good times.

Welcome to NorCal.

So what you're saying is I've got a little over a year to save a down payment on a new frameset?

I’ll probably be making it down as well! I’ll pair it with a “work” trip.

The place was shut down around the conversation center... pretty deserted on the weekend. There was one place and everyone from the show was there for a sandwich. There's some neighborhood stuff a little ways off but we would need to drive.

Personally, I'd love to see this in the upper Midwest but about 6 weeks later into the spring, for good riding opportunities. Minneapolis/St. Paul is a great cycling community, as is Madison, Wisconsin.
^ This. Minneapolis. Dates as is or later. There is no bad weather only bad gear. I get the weather but I have battled cancellations on 3 of my 4 flights in and out of NAHBS shows anyway. Only one cancel was Minneapolis weather related. Bummer such a passionate bike city gets overlooked for this every year.

I would do Denver again and would do Austin. Sacramento has no draw for me at the frequency they show there. So it goes.

Agreed.

I'd love to see a Midwest locale.
