Check the "LetGo" and "OfferUp" Apps

They seem to be the new clearing ground for stolen cycles, at least in the Bay Area. I found my Sachs listed in San Leandro on OfferUp (and got an address and phone before the lead went cold) and saw plenty of other sketchy looking sales on the apps.

Anyone have any recommendations for GPS trackers?

NHAero-

I asked about stated value vs allowing them to be depreciated.

I don’t think the insurance/depreciated value I would get would cover replacing a custom Meivici or a custom Bedford. I’m not super worried about the CAAD10.

Stolen bikes -- Please help

Anyone missing a baby blue Indy Fab with 10 speed Campy?

Price is too cheap, not enough info, and saddle height is too low for a custom bike made for someone.

Looks like it sold. Either for $800 on OU or $1200 from FB.

I sent screen grabs of the bike to IF. The fact that it has SS couplers could narrow down who is the original owner.

Pegoretti Big Leg Emma frames stolen

My Pegoretti, built for me by Dario in 2005, was stolen from my storage area in Los Angeles on 7/14. It's a 59/60cm with extended HT. Hefty cash reward for recovery. /Users/mattjohnson/Desktop/Big Leg Emma.jpg/Users/mattjohnson/Desktop/Big Leg Emma and Responsorium.jpg

Cary, let us know how the eBay saga unfolds.
Rooting for you to get it back (as long as it's yours).

Good friend had his Lynskey GR260 stolen out of his Petaluma, CA garage. Pretty unique, large with custom green Sycip segmented fork and Industry nine wheels. If anyone comes across this in life or the interwebs your PM would be appreciated.

Stolen custom Waterford, flaming paint with Campy Record build.

All, this bike was recently stolen from a secure (supposedly) storage unit in Austin. Please PM me if anyone sees this or it's parts (harder to tell) for sale anywhere.

This has a trememdous amount of sentimental value for the person I built it for.

Thank you greatly,
Christian.

My Bontrager Road Lite with Veloce triple group and Brooks saddle was stolen from outside a post office in Santa Paula, CA (Ventura county). So bummed, I want it back! Please help if it ends up in your hands or your neck of the woods!

Actual photos of my build:
