Harvey Barnes just a poor mans Andros Townsend.

Today's United - Arsenal match was everything it promised to be. Really interesting from the neutral's perspective. I enjoyed it, probably more than United fans.

That was a great end to the match. The entire thing was a decent watch.

Someone better hide Herr Klopp’s phone, b/c that’s a royal trouncing and a half. This German team probably would fail to qualify directly for Euro 2024 were Germany not the host.

Chancellor Merkel’s jungens took a helluva beating. And with profuse apologies to @martl, @gsinill, and the Teutonic contingent, der fussball kommt nicht nach hause

Congrats on being the weldmeister in basketball.

Wer sind Käthe? Ich haben keine annen wer sie sind.

I hope I didn't botch that too much. Watched only three German series so far (Dark, Deutschland 83-89, and some of Babylon Berlin), and that's about all I could string together. And to think that Herr Klopp apparently learned Englisch by watching Friends...

Also, Endo san have contributed to das ende of Flick.

They could bring on Beckenbauer, Klinsmann and Löw as a team of coaches, let alone now Tante Käthe (Völler), and they still would not be able to fix this in the short-term.
Sadly, the Germans have to realize that this is the new normal.

I envy Martl, since I don't care too much for basketball.

And who you are is the current banter team of the footballing world?

And to keep the banter going, I guess if Völler were to take things over, I'd want to see Rijkaard as the coach of the Dutch team, you know, for "old time's sake." Not very funny, i know, b/c if it were guffaw inducing, it might cause a few phlegm projectiles .

I wonder what did ever happen to Rijkaard's coaching career. Went from winning the league and the Big Ears in 2006 to now an afterthought.

I love that very german drive to find the worst possible outcome i.mean that team is full of established champions league p!ayers from clubs like barca, city, arsenal, bayern... It *should* be possible to form into a somewhat decent mannschaft.

I get the feeling that Julian Brandt was on the bottle yesterday.

Absolutely shyte display, so many counters ruined his decision.

I was cooking while watching the match, so I couldn't tell if it was Haller or Mukoko whom Füllkrug replaced, but whoever it was had an anonymous performance.

ETA: serves me right. BVB had Malen the outside forward and Adeyemi as the forwards. Of course Haller and Moukoko would have been anonymous, as they weren't on the field. Looks like it was more than Brandt who might have been on the bottle, as Terzic set up the squad horribly...

neither, attack started with Malen/Adeyemi. Not that any ball ever reached either.

Which match would you be watching today?

Your affiliations aside, Bayern vs Man Utd should be the top-billing, but I get the feeling that the actual interesting match is Real Sociedad vs Inter.
