Saw others as well but have to go. Bettini was one, riding by himself.

Same here was going up Palomar and Horner passes me. No way I could even hold his wheel for a second and I thought I was in pretty good shape.

Steve Hegg was one the most impressive cyclists I had ever rode with. That guy had a huge motor, power on demand like an e-bike is now. Have not seen him for a long long time.

I've seen Horner a few times at Cadence Cyclery in Leucadia on Saturday mornings recently. I think he goes out on SWF A rides and some other rides. He's been around a fair amount in the last few months. Seems like a pretty nice guy. Just sitting around for a post-ride chat.
