Good. Sounds like he might get a hate crime multiplier for it. Doesn't fit the narrative, but if the prosecutor has any wits about him, they'll do it.

SERIOUSLY? This is a thread about a cyclist getting hit by a car (possibly intentionally), assaulted, stabbed and he died and you have to bring your f--ing politics into it?

The dismissiveness from some forum members denying the fact that criminals have been let out in record numbers while in the same thread blaming inanimate objects is bizarre. Time to let your biases go or stop commenting as when you are presented with multiple sources as to that fact and still denying the contents is pretty ignorant. Denying facts because you don't like the source is really a strange phenomenon to me. Not saying we should trust any news source, but in NYS and California they were releasing convicts on a regular basis and in turn crime has spiked. To deny that is to deny reality...

I am bowing out as I already know that I will be berated by those same people and I am not going to feed the beast.

Speaking of the facts, you are just wrong. No "spike" in crime, a very slight increase and way down from the peak in 1992:

I am not being political, just real.

Just remember to be real about how numbers are reported. UCR numbers are always adjusted.
And if certain crimes are not being arrested and prosecuted, it's going to look much less than it is.

Yup, real delusional. They are literally catching and releasing in record numbers as well! Please get help!

The video is too fast or low resolution for my older eyes

I'll take the witnesses testimony, but wait till the dust settles.
I cannot speak to riding PCH.
I have never ridden there.
Breathe deeply.

I’ve ridden through that area a number of times. The amount of cyclists that ride through that area is fairly substantial so drivers should be pretty aware of them.

Here’s a pic of the suspect from his Facebook page at an event in Novato that he posted in August in 2020.

I was with a co-worker last week and we saw a bike painted white. I explained to my co-worker that the white 'ghost' bike means a cyclist was killed at that location.

Can we just focus on the tragedy? There are too many white bikes spread around this nation.

This is sad all around, No winner here.

Rest in peace.
