[QUOTE=jet sanchez;2626379]Lovely, what frame is this?

It's a 15-20 year-old Alberto Masi built, in theory at least, under the velodrome in Milan.

Tubing is some sort of Dedacciai OS. Fork steerer is 1" steel threadless.

Paint scheme is a tribute to the Faema team bikes used by Merckx in the late-1960s.

After the Masi name was sold a while back Alberto apparently had to add his first name, although someone turns a blind eye as he uses up Masi-branded fork crowns and seat stay brake bridges.

It rides pretty good and settles down at speeds I seldom approach these days.

Indeed, Respo! The ride is something very special. Went beyond my expectations. I foresee many many miles with it and feel lucky to have it in my fleet.

In reality I should sell one of these, but I just can't bear the thought with parting with either. Too much love when I ride them.

For pure aesthetics, I'd agree. A "Buzzer Beater." For aesthetics and functionality I'll go with Andy Sti's Alliance Ti All-Road. But hey, we still have a month to go ...
