Don't be surprised. I've got plenty of 20-30 year old bikes as fast as anything else. The bike really is such a small part of the equation, especially the good ones for years back.

Your CSI is totally gorgeous by the way!

Kelly said this bike was the last CSI made, which he made for himself. His name is on the top tube, but there is no serial number.

It is a repaint. I had it repainted by Toby and Jordan at Hot Tubes. The original paint was a paint scheme that I had never seen before. It was interesting, but I had always wanted a neon fade. Also, when I got it, it didn't have a fork. Here it is mocked up with the fork built by Dave Kirk:

I remember Kelly telling me that he was going to build himself one before the tubing and lugs were used up at the plant.

That is so cool, a piece of history.

Hmmm, looks like someone tried to emulate that on the one I just picked up. Or maybe it has some real significance...

More dropouts. The blue one is from my '95/'96 CSi, the second is from the custom fillet brazed sloping CSi.

I need to find out what all the fuss is about with the CSI. I have an Atlanta and a Colorado but need to scratch the CSI itch.

Whomever is holding onto a 58cm square that is collecting dust help a guy out. SANTA is asking for a list and I know what to tell him.

LOL, looks like I never responded to this.

Here's a closeup of the rear dropout.

My stock 58cm CSi had a 57.5cm top tube.

They were 58 x 58 through 1999, then 58 x 57.5 from 2000 on.

I wondered about that because I have seen a CSi for sale that was 58x58 and the seller said it was stock. My stock Legend ti was 60x58.5.

As oliver1850 mentioned, the stock geometries were modified during the years that the CSi was in production. For a while they used an "L" in the serial number that indicated a slightly longer top tube.

In 1995 and 1996, the sizes from 53 up had the L designation. The L was kind of redundant though, as there was only one stock frame geometry at that point in time. The L was dropped either for 1997 or 1998 (we don't have a 1997 catalog yet) but the geometry remained the same for most sizes through 1999. 2000 brought shorter top tubes for most sizes.
