Deda 215 Shallow (and the Speciale, same shape IIRC) are the best but if the OP is looking for a flat tops > hoods transition like maslow's post above, it won't get you there.

I'm bumping this because I took my Simonetti out for a ride on Saturday, and thought it felt fine, so I went back and compared measurements between it and the CSi.
So what I found--for some reason, I used a 125 stem (instead of a 120 that I typically use), and the seat is set a smidge too far back because of the setback post. So that was definitely some of what I was feeling. I have a replacement 120 stem coming, and I will adjust the seat forward a little and I will try it with the same bars (and check the drop while reconfiguring). I will probably try new bars at that point if it still doesn't feel dialed in. |
