It was super fast. There were no crashes. That was awesome.
As for the business of bike racing, Pantani described it as a mafia. That must be the revolution the L39ion team is taking on. Teams organizing events from a young athletes perspective, as opposed to the corporate perspective seems like a good place to build a product that works for everyone. Let's hope this picks up steam. More bike racing, please! |

Yeah, not having Athens on the schedule is puzzling (and there is probably a back story).
Winston-Salem is also an extremely well-run event. Kinda weird it's not included either. Perhaps $$$$$$$$$$$$?
