I've watched a few episodes.
Since I've watched tons of race footage already, I wish they would actually show more of the food prep, serving and consumption. I still like it. It's a different angle. Don't think it's all that new of a concept but they do make it out to be. |

I watched this series a couple of weeks ago and really liked it. I wonder if there will be a season 2.

I binged three straight episodes. Interesting seeing the race from this angle.

Thanks for the tip! It's being downloaded and will be watched on the next flight.
I'm always curious what's the most energy packed food one can consume. |

Saw it and liked it. I really liked the point made, in the later stages of the 3 week race, when the racers are really tired and may not really want to eat..making the food interesting brings them to the table cuz..no eat, no race..
Also beef the evening before the rest day...very good series, IMHO

Hmmm, I watched a few episodes and wasn't impressed--maybe I need to watch the rest.
I really enjoyed Chef's Table, and this show is kind of like a combination between that show and a bike racing show. The thing I don't get is, after all the cooks' hard work, there's hardly any footage of the riders eating, and no sign that they enjoyed the good food any more than the regular food they would be getting. I kept being reminded of the great scene in Cours en Tete, when Eddy is is holding his head and forcing himself to a steak before a big race. |
