WHOOP experts: Data baseline question

So my WHOOP came! I understand the 4 day data baseline collection need and process (I think). Here is my wonder, the next 4 days will be unusual due to work needs (late nights, less breaks) and I will not be able to get my "normal" amount of sleep and probably no fitness activities in (this is rare). If WHOOP needs to establish a baseline would I not be better off waiting until my more "normal" behaviors (sleep time, work hours, workouts, etc, eating...) return since this is establishing my baseline? Why do a baseline from behaviors that rarely happen?

I’m a whoop newbie as well, just a few months in. From what I understand and also see with my data, whoop is constantly adjusting your baseline based on your most recent data. It compares week to week and also gives monthly reports. I’d go ahead and start wearing it and let it collect everything. The more data and different situations you give it the more interesting your results will be. Have fun!

You’ll be fine. Your data will skew to not so good but correlations will develop like not sleeping well, late nights working, etc to HRV and recovery will help you and whoop understand what parameters effect you. Whoop is always adjusting your baseline. Basically the more data the better.

Agree with the other posters that the more data Whoop collects, the more comprehensive and helpful it'll be for you.

Also, since the whoop score is always being adjusted, it's fine even with some outliers (like an unusual block). It is unlike say an FTP ramp test, which you'd ideally want to do when relatively rested/fresh.
