Yeah, I get it. I lived in a rural community (Americus GA) for a year and was chased by farm dogs on just about every ride. Usually in packs.

The whole trail dog thing....I hate it, highly annoying on mtb trails and hiking trails
I've always had dogs and I like dogs...just not the ones that the owner takes everywhere and refuses to leash. Currently have a dog that loves people but is not a fan of other dogs. The number of people I encounter on trails with their dog off leash pretty common, doesn't work well and i always say something to the owner. A dog is gonna be a dog...they bark, pant, sniff crotches etc when they encounter other dogs and people no matter how "good" they are. A leash keeps this in check, and its polite. Makes me want to put a shock collar on the owner |
