Yea, it's a cool spot up there, and pretty special the first time you get to experience it.

We usually have some forum pals who try and get together and do a ride up there in the fall when the colors are really booming. That's a real treat!

Memories..

When I was a skinny 165lb 27 year old we used to climb out arses off in them there Gunks.

Your pic with the ice is especially stellar. Thanks for sharing..

you still can ! I'm 48 and 205lbs, i maybe slow but I'm sure I'll get to the top ! lol

yeah fall definitely is the best time to be up there .. my 2hr drive and $20 fee to ride around the mountain is totally worth it.

Truely great area to ride; dated someone who was from outside of NewPaltz and rode that area a ton. Also, some solid trail riding if you know where to look.
