Honey, is it cool if I get one of those HELOC things? I've got an investment opportunity...

Miguel never rode those bars or saddle.

That's a cool rig for sure. I remember reading that Mig was somewhat obsessive about his saddles. He would travel with 1 or 2 of them in his carry-on or in a separate case to mitigate the risk of damage or loss.

Those levers are also incorrect. They were true first generation Ergo levers. I had some and they were cool but rapidly evolved into better, and way lighter levers.

I also remember one of his bikes having a dropped top tube/extended head tube. Maybe that version was TIG welded. Could be the frame in the OP is an earlier vintage?

Yes, he rode Time pedals. This bike is nearly correct, but not close enough for the price in question. Not even close. And even if it were perfect it's not worth the asking price.
In that day and age Time pedals were the best thing going. |

Oh no argument there. I think they're still pretty awesome, especially the new XPros, just always thought he was a Campy pedals guy for some reason.

Actual build sheet date 11/23/1992 in advance of 1993 season of Indurain’s frames size 59x59 badged Pinarello but welded by Pegoretti as he did all the large frames for Cipo, Poli, etc. so we were told at Pinarello. Note the head tube and seat tube extensions consistent with photos of his race bikes found on internet but different than the listing above. Hmm. If memory serves the no 3 on the sheet indicates this was the third frame spec of a number of different frames built depending upon the type of Race/use. So likely could have been different frames built. But this info was filtered through a mixture of Italian and broken English and several people trying to explain things to us. They kept the build sheets for every pro racing bike they built.
