Colorado race that nobody is noticing

Going on right now, who knew??..a few visits to LBS, Boulder, Rapha etc..no mention..my, how this 'race' has fallen, IMHO.

I knew about the Leadville 100 and Pikes Peak races this weekend but hadn't heard anything about the Colorado Classic until last night. Gotta say, watching a road bike race is the last thing I want to do on a cool weekend in Colorado.

So that was pretty fun. Saw them go by my house near the Sprint point twice. Big difference in the peloton between mile 5 and mile 95. My daughters thought it was cool, thanks to Evan Huffman of Rally for tossing us a bottle.

walked a few blocks to check out some of the final day laps.
not sure how well the race is doing from an attendance/financial perspective (i was virtually alone at the spot i staked out), but for me it's always pretty amazing/humbling to see the speed at which these guys fly by.
