My wife has an Echelon bike. It was $500 from Walmart and is exactly the same as the product being discussed in the article (that amazon have nothing to do with).

It’s very good. But it’s not a peloton bike. It’s simply not built as well, irrespective of the lack of screen. But at $500, there’s very little to complain about.

Update: Amazon is distancing itself from the bike, saying in a statement that it's "not an Amazon product or related to Amazon Prime."

Why would they do that?
