Clamp-on or stick-on Cable guides

I’ve got an old Fuji with cheap plastic cable guides that always seem to be slipping and getting twisted.

I’d like an elegant solution to this, and wondering what my options are.

I’ve seen some stick-on guides. Kind of looks cheesy but maybe I can stick them in near the bottom of the TT.

Or is the standard protocol to go with silver clamp on’s?

I’m open to other options as well.

The traditional silver clamp-ons would be a good match to the aesthetic of that bike.

Alternatively, I've used Flexroute guides before and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Drill the frame for internal routing.

The stick ons will work, but the metal bands you pictured will probably look best.

Have you ever seen a bike that had metal cable clamp bands that didn't eventually scratch the paint? I haven't. If you want to preserve the paint I'd be careful about the metal clamps. If the frame already has a lot of patina, no big deal.

The frame has plenty of “beau-tina” so clamps aren’t an issue.

Thanks much for the offer! I looked in my parts bin and came up with 3 of them. I have no clue where they came from. I think they’re 1.125” but it works.
